central...southwest and west central Kansas.

Elevated fire weather conditions will develop across far west central
Kansas this afternoon as northwest winds increase to 10 to 20 mph.
Humidity values will bottom out around 17 to 20 percent in these areas
as well.

Days 2-7 Discussion
Critical fire weather conditions are likely to develop Friday afternoon
as temperatures soar through the mid to upper 80s across much of 
southwest Kansas. Southwest winds are expected to be in the 20 to 35 mph
range as well Friday.
