This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Cheyenne county in Colorado and
Greeley county in Kansas for this afternoon.
Areas of fog are possible this morning generally east of a line from
near Trenton Nebraska to Hoxie Kansas.
A few severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and early
evening for the extreme eastern/southeastern portions of the area.
Strong wind and large hail are the main threats.
Accumulating snowfall is possible tonight for areas along and west
of a line from near Norton and Sharon Springs Kansas to Cheyenne
Wells Colorado. Highest potential for accumulating snowfall will be
along and north of Interstate 70 and west of Highway 25 where a few
inches are possible. Strong north winds are also expected during this
time which may lead to blowing snow and reduced visibilities.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
Light snow is possible on Monday as precipitation winds down over
Critical and near critical fire weather conditions remain possible
Friday afternoon along and south of a line from Flagler to
Burlington to Russell Springs.
Critical fire conditions are possible Saturday/Sunday afternoons
from Flagler to Tribune and points west.
