National Weather Service Goodland KS
451 AM MST Sat Feb 17 2018 /551 AM CST Sat Feb 17 2018/
Weak areas of low pressure were located over southeast Colorado
and central Nebraska Friday night, neither of which was producing
any notable weather. The region saw mostly clear skies and light
winds with temperatures dropping into 20s and 30s, slightly above
normal for this time of year.
OUTLOOK... a cold front will move through the region today
producing some breezy northwest winds during the afternoon hours.
The front will have little impact on temperatures however, with
highs in the 50s. Winds will quickly turn around to the south
tonight and continue on the breezy side through Sunday.
Temperatures will warm into the 60s and 70s Sunday afternoon due
in part to those southerly winds. However, another, stronger cold
front will move through Sunday night and temperatures will be much
colder to start the week.
