Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin

Lake effect clouds were located over far northern and extreme
eastern Wisconsin during the overnight hours. The clouds across
the north also generated some light snow showers from time to
time. The rest of the area saw mostly clear skies, light winds and
very cold conditions. Low temperatures ranged from 5 to 15 below
zero over central Wisconsin, to the teens above zero near Lake
An area of high pressure is forecast to move into the region today
and will bring partly cloudy skies and light winds to the area.
Temperatures are expected to remain below normal by 5 to 10
Clouds will be on the increase tonight as a system slides to our
south. The northern edge of light snow is forecast to reach
central and east-central Wisconsin on Sunday. However, snow
accumulations are expected to generally be one inch or less with
higher amounts across southern Wisconsin.
