Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the
region over the next several days.
A front will stall across the Carolinas through tonight as high
pressure builds to the north toward New England.
Low pressure developing over the middle Mississippi River Valley
will strengthen as it moves northeastward across the Great Lakes
into Canada this weekend. A widespread soaking rain is likely as
the low passes by late Saturday into early Sunday.
Windy conditions are likely Sunday into Monday in the wake of the
departing low. High pressure will build from the northern Great
Plains toward the Great Lakes early next week.
