A cold front stretched from northeast Iowa through extreme southeast 
Nebraska and south central Kansas this morning. Light snow and areas 
of light freezing drizzle were found behind the front from South 
Dakota and Nebraska into parts of Minnesota and Iowa. South of the 
front thunderstorms are expected into tonight from Missouri into 
central and southern Illinois. Additional freezing rain is possible 
tonight from southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas into southern 
Iowa and northern Missouri. Winter weather advisories cover much of 
the region from today into Tuesday morning.
High temperatures today will range from the 20s across northeast 
Nebraska and southeast South Dakota into northwest Iowa, to the mid 
30s across extreme southeast Nebraska and adjacent areas of 
Missouri, Iowa and Kansas. Lows tonight will be in the teens and 20s
in Nebraska and western and northern Iowa.
