The 925MB upper air analysis is created twice daily and is rendered from data provided by upper air balloon launches. Black lines indicate the height of the 925MB pressure level in meters; a 0º isotherm and dashed isotherms to -10ºC are used to aid with precipitation forecasting in the winter. Blue station plots indicate the actual temperatures, dewpoints, heights, and winds at launch sites. Please note that significant data interpolation occurs in the High Plains and Rockies because ground level at most sites is higher than the 925mb level.
